Bad news!

We've been too slow in booking our place at the Shack Up Inn and now it's fully booked for the one night we're in town. It's the only night we can stay and for some reason, every cabin is taken that night but free the rest of the month! It's a bit of bad luck, but we're hoping that this means something even better is going to come along.

We're going to re-plan that leg of the trip (the Mississippi bit) when we meet up at the end of next month, so if you have any ideas for something to do in the north half of Mississippi, then in the south half, let us know.

Or we may take a detour and skip Mississippi altogether - I wish this blog had voting buttons!

We're definitely on our way!

As of last night, our flights are booked. We'll be meeting up in the fantastic Madrid airport before continuing on to the States. It's all starting to feel very real now.
